With five people and one french press in a home it is vital that it is clean and ready to go in the morning. But when rushing to clean the french press the apparatus fell into the sink from atop the pile of dishes and crashed into the sink and broke.

While a new french press isn't outrageously expensive, we didn't want to buy a whole new french press when only one part was broken.

I went to a local kitchen supply store and found a replacement glass beaker for $17. Much less than the $40 for the new press. They can be found online for as low as $13 but if you don't want to wait for shipping the replacement is most likely at a kitchen supply store near you.

Rather than buying a whole new press do the research first and save yourself some money and cause less waste! Everyone wins!
