Coffee - is the planet shaking or is it just me

Today is National Coffee Day here in the United States, so let us raise a cup of our favorite roast in honor of the man who is credited with discovering the wonders of the coffee plant by the National Coffee Association: Kaldi, the Ethiopian goat herder. Thanks to him, waking up in the morning isn't so bad anymore, and going to work is actually plausible.

Assuming you drink coffee every day, you must be asking yourself, "what's so special about National Coffee Day?" Well, unless you have absolute brand allegiance to Dunkin Donuts Coffee or Starbucks, it's possible to get a free cup of joe on this holiday. 7-11, Thornton's, and Krispy Kreme are all giving away free coffee today. Caribou Coffee and Publix supermarkets are hosting two-for-one deals, and if you really insist on drinking Starbucks, you can go to Barnes & Noble bookstore chains for two-for-one Starbucks coffee using this coupon. Happy coffee drinking! Cheers to Kaldi and his wacky goats.
